Air India

An executive at Air India has graciously agreed to let us transport the wheelchairs we are planning on donating to India without charging the extra baggage fee that would otherwise be charged. For quite a while we were having problems with the cost and the time delay in getting the wheelchairs to India. This assistance and cooperation from Air India is greatly appreciated. At least one of our Members going to India will be flying with Air India and will be able to bring the chairs with him on the flight. With the very limited budget we have, this news came as a lifting of a heavy weight on Wheelchair Athletes Worldwide’s shoulders. Thank you very much Air India!
